I realized it's been a while since I last posted anything on here. I've been busy now that I have joined the working world - my first full time job ever!! I got a call out of the blue at the beginning of the month from the place where I had my first interview back in May. They had hired someone for that job, but they had another position open now, and they said they were interested in me for the job!
Talk about exciting news and an exciting provision of a job. After 15+ job applications and 3 interviews, I really wasn't sure when or where a job might come from... all I knew was that God would provide because He's a God that cares and is faithful. And then the call came. I had to laugh at this one, because just the week before someone from church had said that God would provide a job from where I least expected it. He was dead on right. The job I was hired for was one I hadn't even applied for.
And now I'm working on week 3 of employment! My position is that of FGDM Coordinator - I'm working to help struggling families out and see them get the support they need. I'm still in the training stage, but I'm really excited about this opportunity to help people in my hometown / county.
