I wanted to give you an idea of what it looks like around the city. Since I've been here twice before, sometimes I don't think of what would interest people to see - it's all normal to me. My friend Leanne was here for a few days, and she took a lot of pictures for me. It has been interesting to go through them and get a glimpse of the city from the eyes of someone who had never traveled internationally before coming here. So here are some pictures that she took, and that might interest you as you learn about where I have come to live and serve.

Hispanic cooking uses a lot of adobo. It is a delicious blend of spices, and I'd recommend you try it. You can make your own version of it by following this recipe: http://colemanconcoctions.blogspot.com/2017/06/ruths-adobo-seasoning.html

Homemade smoothie mix - I froze some yogurt in an ice cube tray, threw those in the Ziploc with my fruits, banana, and some spinach and they're ready to freeze. Now when I'm in the mood for a smoothie, I just have to pull this from the freezer. So helpful, when your produce might go bad otherwise while waiting for you to use it all up.
